The Foundation holds various annual fundraising events, such as its Golf Tournament, Spring Dinner to support Women’s Healthcare and Fall dinner to support Ottawa Hospitals.

The Foundation’s 2011 Golf tournament raised over $45,000. The Foundation has regularly supported local charities and hospitals, in particular:

• Ottawa Heart Institute
• Saint-Vincent Hospital
• CHEO
• Canadian cancer Society
• Elizabeth Bruyere Health Centre
• Ottawa Food Bank
• Snowsuit Fund
• Sobriety House
• Shepherds of Good Hope

On November 23rd, 2010, The Foundation, at its Annual Fall Dinner, raised over $42,000 in support of the Cyberknife Initiative of the Ottawa Hospital.

On May 29th, 2011, at its Annual Spring Dinner, the Foundation raised over $10,000 for equipment to treat breast cancer, at the Ottawa Cancer Centre.

The Foundation, in partnership with the University of Ottawa, administers an ongoing scholarship fund of over $150,000.

With returns on the scholarship fund, total annual fundraising of the Foundation is approximately $100,000 and 100% goes directly to local charities, hospitals and university scholarships. All administrative work is completed by the Foundations’ members on a voluntary basis.
